Awareness and Education Supervisor

Role Overview
The role of the Awareness and Education Supervisor primarily responsible for developing, creating and implementing programs and projects that raise public awareness and educate various stakeholders on forest and biodiversity conservation, including organizational and partnership objectives of Keneco. This includes developing experiential environmental and organization modules as well as delivering these materials, organize events, campaigns and forums and making sure that information is accessible and popularized to target audiences.
Key Responsibilities:
● Design awareness campaigns and develop environmental education modules including goals of the programs for different target audiences and incorporate research in setting up these designs;
● Responsible for content development such creating education materials including but not limited to infographics, posters, and toolkits that support awareness efforts;
● Working with the overall communication team to promote campaigns, press coverage and manage public inquiries;
● Organize awareness events such as seminars, workshops, or community outreach activities;
● Supervise and mentor team members, volunteers, or educators who are involved in delivering awareness or educational programs;
● Establish and nurture partnerships with schools, community organizations, government agencies, and media outlets to expand outreach efforts and extend the impact of awareness programs;
● Gather feedback and evaluate the effectiveness of the educational and campaigns;
● Prepare reports and presentations on program effectiveness and recommendations for improvement;
● Perform other tasks as deemed important in the organization and or as assigned by the Lead and Chief Operating Officer.
Qualifications and Skills:
● Bachelor's degree (or higher) in Communications, Education, Public Relations, Social Sciences and Environmental Studies, or a related field. A Master's degree can be advantage;
● 3-5 years of experience in awareness campaigns, public education, communications, or advocacy roles and experienced in program management or campaign strategy, team leadership and staff/volunteer supervision;
● Proficiency in digital tools, social media platforms, and basic graphic design or video editing software;
● Excellent in written skills and effective in communication and interpersonal abilities to engage with stakeholders from diverse backgrounds.
● Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
